This project consisted of 2 separate phases of construction to include design, complete asbestos abatement of floor tile and mastic, demolition and remodel of approximately 21,500 SF of interior office space. The project was completed in an occupied/active federal facility located in Fargo, ND.
The renovation included: Complete remodel to include layout and installation of metal stud framing, drywall and finishing, painting of all drywall surfaces, installation if vinyl wallcoverings, installation of hardwood chair rail and paneling, cabinetry and casework, stainless steel countertop, installation of carpet and carpet tile, VCT floor tiles, porcelain tile, installation of light fixtures, installed new electrical switches, outlets, and covers, installed communications cable, installed new data racks and patch panels, installed new steel door frames, wood doors, hardware, and thresholds, installed acoustical ceiling and tile, installation of new HVAC ductwork, diffusers, exhaust fan and mini split cooling unit. Build out of 5 bathrooms to include toilet compartments, showers, partitions, accessories, ceramic wall tile and porcelain floor tile. Renovations to the existing fire suppression system included the removal of mechanical connections and installation of new piping and all new sprinkler heads.
